Its nearly here, on Friday, Paige and I will head to Texas with Brian and Kelly for Rocky Raccoon 100.  There will be several other CHUGs there as well and it promises to be a fun filled weekend!  Having done significantly less training than in past races, I expected to feel more nervous but as it gets closer, I am left with only feelings of excitement!  It has not escaped me that 100 miles is a long way and that anything could happen during that time but my legs feel strong, we are getting good sleep, the weather forecast is shaping up nicely, and the hunger to run, both mentally and physically, is great.

The race starts at 6AM on Saturday morning and with any luck, we will be wearing our new belt buckles by noon the next day.  It doesn’t appear they are doing race day updates but here is the website, just in case I’m missing something.
